At the July meeting of the Council it was resolved that the Remodelling Working Group continue; with a clear remit to make decisions to expedite the refit. They were allocated a budgetary limit of up to a maximum of £50,000 for fixtures and equipment.

All decisions will be relayed directly back to Council.

On completion of the remodelling of the Parish Rooms the Parish Council intend to appoint a Parish Room Administrator to ensure the effective running and maintenance of the Parish Rooms and to supply high quality services to the public.

The Parish Administrator will also support the Clerk in her duties. The role is based at the Parish Rooms.

Please note that contracts will be on site at The Deer Park on 3-4 August to complete maintenance and weed removal on the Island Pond.

The Parish Council approved expenditure for work on the plinth at the Sheep Wash to make the plaque easier to read.

This work has just been completed, in time for the annual well dressing on Saturday 6 August.
