Resignation of Parish Councillor
Councillor Eric Gilson has resigned from Wingerworth Parish Council.
Eric served on the Council for just over 3 years after being elected to the Wingerworth Ward following the elections held in May 2019. Eric went on to be elected as Chair of the Council in September 2020 and has served as the Chair till his resignation in May 2022.

Parish Hall Project
The Parish Hall Remodelling Working Group held their first site meeting with the architect and contractors today. Work is progressing well and the project is on schedule. The group will hold regular site meetings throughout the project and will continue to share images and updates.

People are asked for their views on 101 and 999 services
Angelique Foster, Derbyshire Police and Crime commissioner is asking residents of Derbyshire to tell police chiefs about their experiences of the 101 and 999 services, as well as preferences for future modes of contact.

The Parish Council have agreed to have support a local charity annually with donations and surplus income from Council events.
