North East Derbyshire District Council formally adopted the North East Derbyshire Local Plan, 2014-2034 on 29 November 2021. The adopted plan now forms part of the statutory Development Plan for the area of North East Derbyshire outside the Peak District National Park. It sets out the vision, objectives, planning policies and site allocations that will guide development in the Plan area to 2034; and decisions on planning applications should be made in accordance with it unless material considerations indicate otherwise.
